ASUS is searching for a Human Resources Coordinator who has the drive and passion to improve employee experience. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter with strong organizational and creative problem solving skills. The HR Coordinator will collaborate with the Generalist, Recruiter, and Department Leaders to onboard incoming employees, maintain trainings, and manage corporate events from start to finish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage pre-employment administrative processes, background checks, I-9 and E-verify, direct all activities related to onboarding, new hire paperwork initiation tracking/​processing
  • Hold first-day orientation for all new incoming employees with an obsession for perfect customer experience
  • Conduct exit interviews and offboard employees
  • Enter employee data and maintain accurate records in ADP Workforce Now
  • Perform administrative duties of filing, record keeping, and creating reports in ADP
  • Take charge of the entire corporate event planning process from researching options, creating proposals, negotiating with potential vendors, and collaborating with the legal team for contracts
  • Execute corporate events by facilitating with vendors, setting up supplies/equipment, and influencing employee engagement
  • Full cycle recruiting
  • Monitor & maintain employee leave of absences
  • Facilitate & monitor company trainings
  • Responsible for ordering office supplies, tracking inventory, and reconciliations
  • Update and enhance job knowledge by pro-actively learning from various sources and participating in training opportunities
  • Other projects assigned by the manager
  • Be an advocate for company safety and ergonomic wellness by implementing programs and training

Required Qualifications:

Years of Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from an accredited University
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in human resources from a small to medium size tech company
  • Experience using an HRIS, preferably ADP Workforcenow

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Familiar with Federal and CA Employment and Labor laws and regulations
  • Medium or advance level of proficiency in MS Office, including Excel
  • Ability to multi-task, has analytical skills with attention to details and a high level of accuracy
  • Passion for customer service
  • Ability to be pro-active and always follow through
  • Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required
  • Excellent listening skills with ability to keep confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Office Only: Typically works in an office environment
  • Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time
