ABOUT THE ROLE:

AppLovin is looking for a demand-side business builder in the in-app programmatic space to join our hyper growth exchange team. The role will be responsible for managing relationships with a book of demand-side platform (DSP) partners, focusing on evangelizing the role of AppLovin in the mobile ecosystem.

This is a highly visible role within the company, driving one of the largest growth engines for our business. You will lead conversations with new and existing DSPs, and likely be part of strategic conversations with major holding co agencies and agency trading desks to identify new opportunities that will grow revenue across the AppLovin platform. You will also drive cross-team collaboration with the Supply Business Development and Client Services, Technical Services, Product Marketing, and Product to ensure client success.

What you'll do:

  • Own a portfolio of DSP relationships and manage stakeholders to exceed revenue goals. You will act as a consultative and strategic sales partner, translating the AppLovin value proposition to grow clients’ mobile programmatic business.
  • Ensure the Applovin narrative for mobile is understood by Inventory, Sales and Account Management teams at your accounts by creating knowledge sharing opportunities & continuous product and marketing updates
  • Execute quarterly business reviews, monthly working sessions with accounts and client calls to further business and account objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign activity to grow share of wallet.
  • Formulate and communicate product, strategic value, contractual, technical, and financial updates with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Be a team player with a keen understanding for internal cross-functional & international communication/collaboration across multiple operational teams
  • Translate partner feedback into prioritized business cases to inform the product roadmap.
  • Work closely with product teams and partners to navigate and launch product betas, partner integrations, and commercialization strategies.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to represent AppLovin and grow your industry knowledge.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of work experience in programmatic partner management or sales experience at a DSP, SSP or mobile in-app advertising network. Experience in working with programmatic performance and omnichannel DSPs is preferred.
  • Understanding of the mobile ecosystem, publisher monetization strategies and DSP bidding strategies.
  • Presentation and writing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • BA/BS degree
  • Ability to travel to New York, London and/or Singapore. Travel will be about 20-25% of time based on location.
