Amazon Video is changing the way people watch movies and TV shows, with over 200,000 titles available on-demand to Kindle Fire, mobile devices, game consoles, Internet-connected PCs, Macs, TVs, Blu-ray players and set-top-boxes.

As a Senior Program Manager for the Prime Video Catalog Coverage & Completeness team you will be responsible for driving customer engagement by maximizing the coverage, completeness, and quality of all assets within the Prime Video Catalog. You will work with content owners, third party companies, and internal teams to recover, optimize, and generate content for Prime Video Customers. You will also be responsible for identifying new ways to drive engagement by creating new experiences, either by adding new asset types to the catalog or building new features and experiences that will enhance our existing assets.

This role is inherently cross-functional; you will work closely with engineering, program management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, and executive teams to bring products to market, develop and grow business opportunities, and enhance our customer experience. We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team oriented, and has the ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. You will also have a consistent track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

In This Role You Will

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Video Customer and Catalog
  • Establish goals, plans and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles to achieve program objectives
  • Own the development of new programs and experiences, while optimizing existing programs.
  • Work cross functionally with the content licensing, product management, engineering, merchandising, and finance teams to document and define initiatives and drive them through execution.
  • Drive projects, products, and feature launches with teams both inside and outside of the team including: business development, content acquisition, legal, marketing, finance, customer service, and operations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • 5+ years of experience delivering cross functional projects
  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management
  • 5+ years of experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field preferred
  • Experience using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
  • Experience and understanding of digital media and/or digital video supply chain
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, and marketing/business counterparts to deliver online products/services
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role.
