Amazon’s Digital, App, & Game Services (DAGS) team is seeking an experienced Sr. Partner Marketing Manager who is passionate about the streaming television and gaming space. DAGS is Amazon’s conduit connecting mobile app and game developers to our devices, services and customers worldwide. You will be joining a fast growing, quickly evolving studio team responsible for delivering a new original TV series for gamers. You will be expected to wear many hats and help out on many projects in addition to management for our sales program. The ideal candidate will have a track record of operational excellence, creativity and the ability to earn trust with partners. You must be able to work collaboratively across multiple teams including 3rd party agencies, sales, business development, and product teams.

This role will be chartered with developing and executing a sales strategy addressing both internal Amazon and external partnerships in order to exceed aggressive ad sponsorship goals. Specifically, this individual will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with key decision-makers within the senior management and executive teams of prospective accounts, and collaborate with Amazon ad sales teams to present our unique value proposition. The successful candidate will be expected to think and act both strategically and tactically from the creation of plans to execution to analysis of business impact. We seek a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and an ability to think big while paying careful attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around our streaming television series.
  • Engage with brands and advertisers to understand their needs and gauge fit with our sponsorship offerings.
  • Prospect and close business to achieve weekly, monthly and quarterly quota targets for both the quantity and quality of sponsors.
  • Implement and track metrics for assessing sponsor success and apply these insights to go-forward strategies.
  • Demonstrate ability to work at the strategic level by generating bold and innovative ideas for growth and at the tactical level through program management, advertising campaign execution, and creating campaigns
  • Collaborate closely with production and business teams to manage simultaneous time-sensitive projects.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in partner management, business development, content marketing, or channel marketing, in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • 3+ years experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver partnerships and projects on time.
  • An entrepreneurial drive, proven ability to influence others. You are a self-starter and can juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic and environment.
  • Superior communication and analytical skills, including strong ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems.
  • Excellent organization, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

  • Experience in the video game industry and mobile games.
