The Prime Video European Finance team seeks a Finance Analyst to support Prime Video strategy and performance in Europe. The role will provide financial and customer analysis to support European expansion, profitability and partner with subscriptions and transactions product teams based in London. The role is highly commercial in focus, providing analytical insight to challenge and support short and long term initiatives. It would suit finance professionals with a transactional, commercial finance background with strong proficiency in analytics/ financial modelling. Based in our London Head Office, this is a new role as business requirements expand.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Business partnering with product teams on financial impact analysis and valuation of initiatives;
  • Ad hoc analysis and deep dives on product performance metrics;
  • Building projections of performance in new locales to support investments;
  • Supporting business cases and campaign analysis for marketing in newer European territories;
  • Consolidation of metrics and financial performance across European locales;
  • Ownership of compliance reporting and calculation of liabilities;

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree
  • Relevant finance accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • Possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated expertise with building financial models and processes using MS Excel
  • Has a superior attention to detail and an appetite to dive into details
  • Excellent analytical skills, a passion for metrics and data, and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the bigger commercial picture

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of SQL, VBA, Cognos, Oracle and/or Tableau is desirable
  • Demonstrated bias for action and ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and often in an ambiguous environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills
  • Ambitious, want to succeed and be part of a great team
