Akshon Esports (www.akshonesports.com) is a nexus for all things Esports. Our mission is to entice Esports fans with information on trending topics, players, teams, events, and more! We are a startup company with a team of entrepreneurial individuals who hope to expand the Esports community and bring to the competitive nature of gaming while telling the narratives in the scene.
We are looking for a motivated and committed UI/UX designer who want to expose themselves in the Esports industry. As an Akshon Esports designer, you will be working with passionate and talented development team as well as content creators.

Your responsibilities:
- Work closely with team lead and engineers to develop UI/UX mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how the website functions
- Gather and evaluate requirements by illustrating design ideas through storyboards, sitemaps, and process flows
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Create original designs while adhering to product standards
- Optimize existing user interface designs
Requirements:
- Degree in Design, or relevant field
- Minimum 1-2 years work experience as a UI/UX designer or similar role
- Knowledge and experience with wireframe tools
- Proficiency in design software (i.e. Adobe Creative Cloud)
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team
- Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 is a plus
- Good ability to discuss and pitch design options
Preference given to applicants with:
- Follows/understands the Esports/gaming Industry
- Experience developing front-end
