Job Description:

Activision is looking for a passionate and experienced Social Engagement Manager to join the Consumer Marketing team.

The Social Engagement Manager will focus on building the strategy that guides community engagement and the Call of Duty "voice" on social media. This role will be a thought leader, setting platform specific strategies that focus on expanding brand engagement, along with building a framework for defining and measuring success.

The ideal candidate for this role is a gaming enthusiast with a strong passion for entertainment, web/pop culture, sports, music, etc.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and maintain our COD social bible (in partnership with our social AOR )
  • Set the priorities and lead the day-to-day editorial, content plans and copywriting for brand channels - working in collaboration with our live ops and mainline social marketing leads to bring brand consistency and best practices to their social marketing activations.
  • Develop strategic campaigns that are community centric and elevate the COD brand on all priority platforms.
  • Manage real-time 1:1 community interaction on behalf of the brand, and lead our agency in building out a framework for evergreen brand engagement
  • Set platform goals, and work in partnership with our analytics and research teams to benchmark success and extract actionable insights to track performance against our goals.

What you’ll bring

  • 8+ years of client-side social / digital marketing experience.
  • Experience writing social copy for a brand as a client or at an agency.
  • Impeccable communication skills.
  • Passion for gaming, a love for the Activision / Call of Duty brands and a strong knowledge of gaming audience segments.
  • Appetite for all things digital and social – developing innovative campaigns leveraging the newest tech across platforms - and desire to identify opportunities for strategic brand involvement.
  • Familiarity with Opal and Sprinklr is a plus.
