Activision is searching for an Senior Producer to lead the Emerging Franchise pipeline by providing day to day management, communication and coordination across multiple game teams in the Emerging Franchise pipeline. The Senior Producer is ultimately responsible for supporting our internal and external development teams as they progress through the early stages of proving their creative, team and business visions prior to full production. Together with the VP of Production, and Design Director the Senior Producer will facilitate the pipeline and champion systematic improvements to the process in order to improve player and business outcomes across Emerging Franchises.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with our game teams to successfully collaborate and mentor them through team and execution challenges
  • Manage the progress of teams throughout the pipeline, coordinating milestones, deliverables and communication across groups at Activision
  • Facilitate the pipeline process itself by scheduling and running meetings, reviews and mechanisms for ongoing effective communication
  • Improve the pipeline process by proactively collecting stakeholder feedback and seeking external points of view
  • Track and communicate constraints (budget, resources, time) on multiple teams, projects and studios, and hold them accountable to those constraints
  • Synthesize, prioritize and follow up on a cycle of feedback between stakeholders and game teams
  • Identify and track team needs and risks in order to support them with resources, services and solutions
  • Work with teams to overcome complex problems, improving product quality and helping to keep them focused and on track
  • Ensure stakeholders and teams are always in alignment through regular communication and persistent dashboards and reports
  • Make onsite visits to developers to continuously monitor development progress (domestic and international travel may account for ~10% of your work)

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in PC and console videogame game development
  • Minimum 3+ years experience at a Senior Producer level or equivalent with a game developer
  • Direct experience through an entire products development from Concept to Street
  • Experience with production during ideation, iteration and pre-production phases
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Experience working with marketing, finance, PR and first party
  • Practical experience in setting, guiding and evaluating multiple styles of production processes
  • Experience with multiplayer games and games as a service
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • A strong background and understanding of multi-platform video game production
  • Experience with IP working across channels (print, streaming, linear, interactive) is a plus
  • Knowledge of Perforce, Maya, Photoshop and Unreal development a plus
  • Positive attitude and passion for making games
