We work alongside Activision studios around the world to build the most compelling entertainment experiences ever seen.

Your role

Activision is searching for a Senior Engineer to join its CT group based in Manchester. This is a full-time permanent position, learning and working in a friendly and inclusive environment alongside some of the best game creators in the world. You will help us craft the next generation of the massively successful Call of Duty® series of games.

Responsibilities include:

  • Architect, implement, optimize, and support the asset processing systems which enable our artists and designers to create & iterate as efficiently as possible.

  • Work across the entire Call of Duty® content pipeline, from asset editors to infrastructure to the game engine.

  • Work with other teams to achieve the game’s feature and performance goals.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years' experience working as a C++ engineer in the game industry or a related field.

  • Proven track record of shipping high quality code

  • Strong writing and communication skills
