Your Mission

As a Senior Director of Product working on Warzone Mobile, the newest game in Activision’s mobile free to play portfolio, you will focus on developing our product organization and helping build out a world culture PM culture.

This role will involve lots of cross-team collaboration and people management. Our ideal product director wants to help grow our games not only by applying their personal experience but also by improving the immense talent we have – think strategic frameworks, processes that give visibility and input while still empowering the team, and actionable development plans.

As the Sr. Director of Product, you will be responsible for:

Training and coaching a team of product directors and product managers by:

  • 1:1 coaching w/ product directors to help each increase impact & capabilities

  • Improving rituals, materials, and tools used by product org in daily course of business

  • Offering nuanced guidance on how to better navigate a complex organization

  • Building programs that train newer product managers on core PM competencies

Building a world-class product analytics and insights culture on Warzone Mobile

  • Develop better processes, templates, frameworks, and tools that help us understand the key trends in our business and which are the biggest points of leverage

  • Define key performance indicators for Warzone Mobile, showing how top-level metrics decompose to diagnose and lead changes, and how critical initiatives are intended to drive key performance indicators

  • Improve culture, process, and team in charge of game performance reporting

  • Along w/ leaders across Data teams, build a better culture at forming key insights

Player Profile

8 years of product management in mobile gaming industry with experience:

  • managing and mentor successful teams in a matrixed environment

  • building features & roadmaps,

  • measuring and forecasting outcomes,

  • understanding live game performance, and

  • running complex live ops

A strong interest in developing talent and building a better product management culture.

Proven ability to manage up and down across the organization with strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal & written communication abilities

A love of shooter games and Call of Duty is a strong plus!

Solid State Studios is an emerging team within Activision Publishing focusing on both publishing and live- operations for Call of Duty Mobile along with our new in-house studio dedicated to the development of AAA mobile titles.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $164,800.00 - $304,800.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
