Your Mission

We are currently on the hunt for a super creative Lighting Artist (Temporary) to join our team and work on our next awesome project.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Implement lighting across multiplayer, single player, coop, and warzone maps
  • Collaborate with Art Teams in the development of level lighting to establish a compelling, cohesive look
  • Contribute innovative and original ideas towards all aspects of game production and development
  • Meet established quality standards by creating visually stunning game environments and cinematics while maintaining runtime performance
  • Assist in the documentation and communication of technical and process guidelines for lighting creation and implementation

Player Profile

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years industry experience with at least 1 title shipped on xbox, ps, or PC platforms
  • Proven ability to produce compelling visuals through lighting showcased in a portfolio with environments, characters and cinematics
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented; able to translate visual reference or concept effectively into the game without direct supervision
  • Deep understanding of color theory, space, material response, light and media interaction and physically based rendering techniques
  • Proficiency in real-time engines, tools, pipelines and development processes
  • Ability to collaborate with team leads to achieve lighting solutions that are effective for art and design teams
  • Open to feedback but also possessing an excellent capacity to solve creative and technical problems, and present a compelling vision
  • Ability to research and develop innovative lighting techniques; envision or address tools needs, report and solve bugs
  • Understanding of color grading and pbr shader development
  • Experience with game engine editors (Unreal Engine, Unity, etc.)
  • Experience in HDR photography
  • Some experience with programming or scripting languages
  • Understanding of real-time memory constraints, rendering performance, and optimization
