Your Mission

Activision is seeking a talented financial analyst to drive the Call of Duty business with a specific focus on live operations across the Call of Duty franchise across all platforms. This will be a dynamic and visible role that will be a key partner across our finance and business unit.

Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities

  • Serve as key partner to Call of Duty Live Operations for core financial processes (e.g., quarterly pacing, Annual Operating Planning)
  • Partner with business leaders on ad hoc financial and strategic initiatives to drive key decisions for Call of Duty
  • Provide additional support for Call of Duty live ops across all platforms
  • Build detailed financial models in support of strategic decisions & long-range planning

Player Profile

Minimum Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, corporate finance, investment banking, strategy, or equity research with a focus on the technology, media, or interactive entertainment industries
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Leveraging proven analytical capabilities, the successful candidate will be a strong cross-functional collaborator and help drive key operational decisions and investments.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking; ability to communicate complex concepts at a high level to executive leadership
  • Robust financial modeling, ideally with a history in free-to-play or subscription business models
  • Track record of lifetime value and/or user acquisition analysis to drive business decisions
  • History of cross functional work with strong relationship management
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Hyperion
  • Interest in video games or entertainment
