Who We Need:

As the global strategic marketing lead for future Hangar 13, and other unannounced AAA studio releases, the Director, Global Marketing Strategy will proactively and passionately partner and collaborate with both Development and cross-functional Publishing leads on a global scale, to lead the authoring and execution of succinct, digestible and ground-breaking global strategic marketing plans that drive acquisition, engagement and monetization opportunities for multiple traditional narrative focused, and live service focused, AAA product releases. The Director, Global Marketing Strategy will have a proven track record of success and achievement in brand strategy, product and live-service marketing at a global level.

What You Will Do:

In collaboration with Global Cross-Functional Publishing and Development partners:

  • Consolidate, interpret and drive alignment against key business inputs that will define project success and the global marketing strategy
  • Guide the creation and championing of the global marketing strategy with clear definition of product, global audiences and how we’ll reach them, product positioning, creative platform, marketing objectives, goals, strategies, and measurements for success at a 360-marketing discipline level
  • Develop and drive execution of ground-breaking, globally relevant creative strategies inclusive of detailed outline of all creative needs (large and micro), specifically the what, when, for who and with what message
  • Regularly partner, present and report to executive and studio leadership, territory partners and other stakeholders on marketing strategies, plans, status and findings
  • Review and approve local territory campaigns, ensuring they are on brand, on strategy and collaborate on local optimization opportunities as needed
  • Analyze and monitor key campaign performance indicators derived from in-game data, global sales figures and other financial metrics to define, communicate and enact campaign optimization opportunities (pivoting when needed to optimize for success)
  • Develop global marketing strategies and tactics for management of the complete customer lifecycle – acquisition, engagement, retention, re-acquisition
  • Define, allocate and manage the tracking of the global marketing budget
  • Manage and grow team of talented direct reports

  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience in marketing roles at top tier global companies - mobile or interactive entertainment, CPG, consulting, or e-commerce
  • Experience in all major areas of marketing, including mobile, online and offline, brand and product marketing, search, CRM, social media, community management, influencer marketing and PR
  • Experience with Project Management and coordination across global functional groups, studios, and external partners / licensors
  • Experience leading, growing and developing a team of direct reports
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, flexible environment
  • Passion for video games preferred
  • Bachelors Arts / Bachelors Science from a top-tier institution and MBA preferred
