What We Need

The Operations team at 2K is looking for a driven and intellectually curious person to help drive key operational initiatives across the business. We partner with a variety of teams across the organization to orchestrate unified, effective, and scalable initiatives. At any given moment we are the supporter, leader, approver, and/or responsible party with other internal and external teams.

What You’ll Do

As a temporary Associate Project Manager at 2K, you will be responsible for driving the operational process for multiple active and planned projects, assisting the Operations team by guiding cross functional teams to navigate barriers to execution and communicating progress and solutions to leadership teams.

The right candidate will possess a project management background and will have proven experience leading multiple complex projects at the same time. You are able to thrive and succeed in a collaborative environment with a diverse set of globally-distributed partners and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.

  • Lead and assist with the successful ongoing execution and delivery of large-scale projects involving all areas of the business

  • Develop project plans including timelines, achievements, deliverables, dependencies, success criteria, and relevant communication

  • Effectively and dynamically context switch between the individual task level and high-level project objectives, with the goal of maintaining a consistently up-to-date view that can be conveyed outward

  • Provide detailed and timely communication on developing issues to relevant executives and partners with clarity and urgency

  • Work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment, being incredibly proactive and not shy to call out issues and prioritize resolution

  • Work closely with the project team to help track major activities and achievements and help organize operations schedules

  • Help maintain project documents, perform project research, and assist in data entry tasks

  • Assist with driving key tasks to completion and escalating when the project is at risk when appropriate

  • Help prepare weekly project reports to update project partners and leadership of project status

  • Coordinate and assist with presentations for project initiatives or special projects Develop and maintain good working relationships with different partners within the business and with other organizations

What Will Make You A Great Fit

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent required

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role, familiarity with the gaming market and industry trends preferred

  • Good Microsoft office / Gsuite proficiency required. Strong PowerPoint skills are a bonus

  • Experience and comfort leading daily scrums and providing frequent status reports to small and large audiences

  • Great interpersonal skills including an ability to work effectively within a globally distributed team with different levels across the organization from executives to interns

  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale across the organization

  • Adaptable with an ability to apply experience across different areas of business

  • Ability to self-prioritize effectively and be extremely organized

  • Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills

  • Reasonable understanding of finance and an ability to oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $29 and $43 per Hour. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
