2K develops and publishes interactive entertainment globally for console systems, handheld gaming devices and personal computers, including mobile devices. 2K is a leading publisher of today’s most popular gaming genres and most well-known for critically acclaimed game franchises like NBA 2K, WWE 2K, BioShock, Borderlands, Evolve, XCOM and the beloved Sid Meier’s Civilization.

What We Need:

2K is looking for an Assistant Mobile Product Manager – someone that has worked on mobile games and possesses strong ownership in product features and metrics. You will be working closely with the mobile team to bring the best out of the mobile product and improve its performance.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Able to perform AB test, research and analyze data to improve metrics and make important game decisions

  • Take ownership of the live operation and define feature roadmap to ensure targets are met

  • Able to formulate new monetization / retention systems and features to share with the team

  • Provide benchmarks to the team with accurate data and competitor analysis

  • Work closely with the mobile publishing team in game launches

  • Able to formulate telemetry and ensure meaningful metrics are captured

  • Able to evaluate games with quantitative / qualitative recommendations

Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit:

We are looking for an assistant mobile product manager who is result-driven, self-motivated, and passionate about improving game features. The ideal candidate must be able to analyze large data sets and provide pragmatic insights. Being a creative problem solver and self-starter to combine creative thinking with clear data-driven decisions are also going to be very critical for this role.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Games, or a related field

  • Minimum two years of mobile game experience in F2P mechanics

  • Have worked on at least 2 mobile titles and Live Game operations

  • Excellent analytical and product design skills. Full proficiency in Excel/Powerpoint

  • Has experience in game design or game creation

  • A team-player who is able to teach and communicate effectively with the mobile team

  • Experienced in product analytics platform is a plus (Amplitude, Mixpanel,etc)

  • Basic knowledge of programming language is a plus (SQL, VBA, etc)

  • Experienced in operating game management tools

  • Fluency in Chinese as you would need to collaborate with our Shanghai Office
