Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience with partner/account management in the video, media, or entertainment industry focused on the gaming space.
  • Business development experience with media or internet agreements.
  • Program management experience working with external partners, vendors, and creators.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with publishers, creators and influencers and maintaining business relationships.
  • YouTube content creation, strategy, and management experience.
  • Program management experience focused on events or marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge in Mobile Gaming (e.g. Publisher Ecosystem, Creator Ecosystem, Marketplaces).
  • Understanding of technical implementations between Game Accounts and User Journeys.
  • Passionate about and actively involved in the gaming space.

As a Strategic Partner Manager on the Content Partnerships team at YouTube, you'll have a unique opportunity to create long-lasting relationships with your portfolio of partners, and to apply and hone business skills in an entrepreneurial environment. You're comfortable working on complex content agreements with partners, as well as working cross-functionally with colleagues across multiple disciplines, to ensure our partners are positioned for success on YouTube and to provide the best possible experience for our users.

As a Strategic Partner Manager, you'll work with Product teams to educate and build product features which will enable the capturing and consumption of this growing vertical within Gaming. The Mobile Gaming business at YouTube overlaps with Android and the Google Play Businesses, which are platforms and marketplaces for games. Your role will involve forging relationships with our largest Mobile Gaming partners (creators/publishers) and managing content programs along our cross-functional Google Play partners. You’ll be involved in shaping the way YouTube develops products which best suit the next generation of users who exclusively watch and play games on their mobile devices.

Responsibilities

  • Program manage large and complex content opportunities with Mobile Game Publishers and Influencers in the space.
  • Provide leadership to a group of partnership managers acquiring and managing content partners in both the live and Video on Demand space.
  • Provide insight, understanding and leadership in order for the company to maximize the potential for its current and future product/service offerings regarding the gaming vertical, focusing on live.
  • Discuss agreements and manage the internal implementation of those agreements by coordinating the operations of Product Management, Legal and the Business Development team.
  • Establish and drive relationships within YouTube’s cross-functional organizations with the goal of driving business growth and content catalog for the Partnerships team. Develop, plan and implement projects and initiatives to enhance overall gaming creator experience and results.
