Are you a passionate Game Producer with a proven track record leading teams to global success?
This is an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Game Producer to join the Magic: The Gathering Arena production team. As a Senior Producer, you will lead, mentor, and inspire a squad of developers and build positive relationships with external partners and shared component teams throughout the company. The ideal candidate has a history of working with large scale system environments, has worked with external partners, has a passion for CCG development, and is eager to join us in our aim to elevate Wizards' digital efforts to be best in class.
What You'll Do
- Work with your squad to break out project goals and scope objectives accordingly
- Coordinate the work of cross-functional development efforts
- Address resource blockers, quality concerns, and scope changes with other members of the Production team
- Define and own the business and technology strategy for your squad's results, including North Star metric(s) and critical metrics for success
- Represent Wizards' interests with partners, steering external impact on development - with minimal direction from studio management
- Build and maintain project backlogs, roadmaps, schedules and documentation
- Deliberately balance the needs of the players, the studio, and the business partnerships using data-informed decisions
What You Bring
- Minimum 5+ shipped games in a producer role
- Strong analytical skills to analyze security requirements and relate them to appropriate security controls
- Ability to communicate clearly with teams at all levels and across all business units and organizations
- Good interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to handle expectations appropriately, deliver a superior customer/client experience and build long-term relationships
- Minimum 3+ years exposure to Magic: The Gathering as a player – you understand the nuances of the brand, in paper and online expressions
- Skill at handling difficult communication situations with executives, partners, and the team at large
- Experience designing, building and shipping Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), or Platform as a Service (PaaS)
