Wargaming is looking for a Project Manager to join the team working on its flagship product—World of Tanks.
The core of World of Tanks development is made up of teams that work on fundamental technical and art solutions, from which all further development of game features is based. The Project Manager position includes organizing and ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of technical projects aimed at developing the game engine, ensuring the production of tanks, maps, and other art objects, and conducting the full cycle of game feature development.
What will you do?
- Manage several technical projects simultaneously (game engine, development tools, and content production) with the participation of both dynamic and static teams
- Ensure consistency of solutions and timely implementation of features
- Create clear and transparent development plans
- Manage project risks, analyze alternatives, ensure consistent decision-making, and participate in solving complex project tasks
- Resolve interaction issues both within and between teams, communicate with related departments
- Optimize and systematize development processes, introduce new practices aimed at increasing team efficiency, work transparency, and focus of the teams
- Be responsible for feature delivery by supporting it from the moment of initiation to post-release analysis.
What are we looking for?
- 3+ years of experience in project management
- Experience in working on big projects, with a large number of dependencies
- Experience in managing several parallel projects
- Successful experience in bringing projects to release
- Experience working with several teams simultaneously, including distributed teams
- Experience in project interaction in a matrix structure
- Intermediate or higher level of English (written and spoken).
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Project management experience in gamedev
- Scrum, LeSS, SAFe, Product Management Certifications.
