Wargaming is looking to hire DevOps Engineer to DevOps Product Team that provides the full cycle of maintenance activities of web services built for World of Tanks and World of Tanks Blitz.

What will you do?

  • Support web services releases.
  • Troubleshoot applications performance and stability issues.
  • Develop and introduce automation tools for web services deployment, monitoring, and execute daily maintenance routines.
  • Develop and support CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Provide L2 support.
  • Work in close cooperation with development teams; consult and provide support.

What are we looking for?

  • Deep knowledge of GNU/Linux, including system performance analysis and tuning.
  • Fluency in CLI tools usage.
  • Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies.
  • MySQL and PostgreSQL performance diagnostics; SQL basics; know how to analyze DB structure and query plan.
  • Knowledge of CI/CI tools and approaches (Jenkins, TeamCity).
  • Knowledge of Python or any other language for automation scripts. Ability to work with someone else's code.
  • Experience of working with highload infrastructure-wide web applications (>1000 rpm, >10 servers).
  • Adaptability to changes in Web technologies, competence in evaluating and introducing them.

What will help you stand out?

  • Basic knowledge of Django, aiohttp, Supervisor, uWSGI, gunicorn.
  • Basic knowledge of Puppet.
  • Experience in creating complex Nginx configurations, including Lua module usage.
  • Experience of providing L2 support.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka.
  • Basic knowledge of Kubernetes.
