This is a fully remote, full-time, permanent contractor position.

We're VOID Interactive, the kickass team behind the best-selling FPS game, Ready or Not. We're made up of some seriously talented individuals who love games and creating awesome content together.

We're seeking someone who's just as passionate about gaming as we are and who's ready to join forces with us to help take our marketing game to the next level.

As our Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for developing epic strategies, ramping up our sales and buzz, and taking names with advertising, promotions, public relations, and market research. Our goal is strong: to establish Ready or Not as the quintessential FPS of our time.

In this role, you'll be in charge of:

  • Developing and executing killer marketing strategies, working hand in hand with our game development squad to make sure we're always true to ourselves.

  • Advertising campaigns, promotions, and public relations efforts. We're all about working together to make magic happen, so you'll be collaborating with other departments like our art team and development teams to make sure our marketing game is on point.

  • Creating and managing social media accounts to promote our game, engaging with the community, and building relationships with influencers and content creators.

  • Planning and coordinating events, such as game conferences, community events, and livestreams, to promote our game and attract new players.

  • Collaborating with external partners, such as publishers, media outlets, and advertisers, to expand our reach and increase visibility for our game.

  • Conducting market research and analyzing data to gain insights into our target audience, competition, and industry trends, and using this information to inform marketing strategies and tactics.

  • Developing and managing budgets for marketing campaigns and initiatives, tracking expenses and ROI to ensure the most efficient use of resources.

  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using analytics tools and other metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

Of course, you won't be alone on this mission - you'll be leading a team of marketing pros and outside vendors to make sure we're maximizing our efforts and bringing awareness to our game in every way possible!

Here's what we'll need from you:

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing with a focus on the video game industry.

  • Must thrive in a flexible, remote work environment.

  • Strong leadership, management, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Experience with market research and data analysis.

  • Must have experience with top social media platforms such as Twitter, Meta, Tiktok, and YouTube.

  • A curious mindset with a creative approach to marketing solutions is a key attribute.

  • Strong understanding of marketing to different platforms and their audiences, including PC and consoles.

  • Comprehensive understanding of game development, industry standards, video production, and asset creation.

  • Experience with influencer marketing and marketing outside of Western countries a plus.
