What We Need:

Our Foothill Ranch studio in California is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our development efforts on an exciting new game using the Unreal Engine! This game brings a new direction for Visual Concepts, involves driving in an open world, and will be fun for all ages.

What You Will Do:

• Tailor our use of Unreal Engine to the unique physics and geometry processing of this fun, new AAA game

• Optimization of memory, CPU, and other low-level systems on multiple console platforms

• Contribute architectural insight across the entire game

• Assist other engineers in devising clean and efficient solutions to technical challenges

• Know the latest techniques and technologies

• Contribute to ongoing technical strategy

Who Will Be a Great Fit:

• 5+ years of programming experience using a large game engine

• Experience releasing games on consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo)

• Passion for real time software performance

• Extensive experience working on games at or near the engine level

• Superb understanding of modern C++ fundamentals

• Ability to work independently and efficiently under reasonable deadlines

• Ability to write clean, bug-free, well-documented, and efficient code

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• A love for games (not just ours!)
