Position: Freelance Sports Game Writer (Remote)
At GameRant, we require writers who are driven to succeed, have a way with words, and keep up with what's trending in the gaming world.
GameRant is looking to bolster its sports game coverage and looking for a candidate with familiarity and knowledge about a variety of sports games. From Madden to FIFA to MLB, the ideal sports specialist candidate should follow the latest news surrounding sports games and their communities. They should also be capable of researching and pitching topics for news coverage, guides, and features about new and upcoming sports games.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute a minimum of 5-10 articles per week.
- Work under tight deadlines and submit articles for publication on time.
- Report to the Lead Editor and implement feedback efficiently.
- Able to maintain a contracted freelance schedule.

- C.V. and Cover Letter.
- Please provide 2-3 samples of previously written work covering video games.
Applicants must be highly motivated and possess the following requirements:
- Ability to source information/news from different websites.
- Broad knowledge of gaming history and culture.
- Experience with WordPress is a plus.
- Experience in SEO practices.
- A solid grasp of the English language and the ability to communicate niche ideas to a wide audience
