In this 6 months Contractor role you will be the financial business partner to Unity’s Chief Marketing Officer. Acting as the marketing organization CFO brings numerous opportunities and real exposure to the company’s senior leadership. The work matters, is seen at the highest level and you will impact the organization in a tremendous way.


  • Report and analyze business results and communicate key takeaways (including the identification of risks and opportunities) to internal business partners
  • Support the Chief Marketing Officer in all aspects of financial planning: budgeting, accruals, forecasting, variance analysis and ad-hoc reporting
  • Help us improve and implement processes to support our growth and drive efficiencies that help us scale as an FP&A team
  • Work cross functionally to ensure accurate reporting on all financial metrics and key performance indicators
  • Juggle competing priorities and request from a business partners, manage expectations and communicate effectively during direct interaction with senior leadership
  • Complete annual plans, monthly forecasts and help ensure investment and resource allocations are aligned with Unity’s strategic priorities
  • Participate in the preparation of material for board of director meetings, investor meetings and internal executive meetings


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similarly quantitative/analytical degrees
  • Relevant experience in an analytical role (e.g. financial planning & analysis, corporate development, sales operations, investment banking, consulting, etc.)
  • Experience managing large organizations, multiple budgets, revenue streams, and hiring pipeline
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present complex financial information in an easy to understand format
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Bonus points

  • High level of attention to detail and a passion for data
  • Prior working experience in Adaptive Planning, Netsuite and/or Workday
  • Experience at a public company with high visibility and scrutiny on financial results
  • Prior experience partnering with C-level executives
  • Management of online advertising budget for Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter
