Job Description

As a Software Engineer (f/m/d) at Ubisoft Düsseldorf, your main goal is to develop and refine new and existing solutions to ensure a fair gaming environment across Ubisoft’s collection of multiplayer titles. While focusing on creating scalable, high-performance software, you'll also have an opportunity to dive into the domain of anti-cheat technologies. What you will do:

  • Join a cross-functional team of skilled engineers under seasoned leadership.

  • Develop high-performance software using C# ASP.NET and C++ to enhance the gaming experience for millions of players.

  • Collaborate closely with other teams to meet the challenges head-on.

  • Work alongside game production teams to maintain the quality of our service.

  • Offer insights and recommendations to further the project goals.

Qualifications

We're looking for experienced software engineers interested in tackling game security challenges!

What you bring:

  • Proficiency in C# ASP.NET, C++, with expertise in at least one of these.

  • Experience with Windows Internals.

  • Background in game or engine development is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.

  • A collaborative mindset and a proactive attitude towards achieving project objectives.

Bonus skills and experience

  • Familiarity with Windows Driver development.

  • Understanding of the common challenges associated with multiplayer/online games.

  • Experience with Docker Containers & Kubernetes framework.

  • Know-how in monitoring the health of SaaS offerings and site reliability engineering.

  • Ability to work effectively in a distributed team across different time zones.
