Job Description
YOUR DAILY JOURNEY
As a member of a multidisciplinary development team, the Build Engineer will collaborate with different teams in Singapore Studio and other Ubisoft Studios to design, implement and maintain CICD pipeline solutions for production
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Monitor, communicate and resolve CICD pipeline incidents. Follow up on topics in relevant support channels
Collaborate with development team to improve the reliability, scalability and performance of the pipeline solutions
Collborate with Production to support co-development studios and external teams
Identify potential risks and challenges, to actualize optimal pipeline solutions
Manage and maintain source control branches, integration flows
Setup and maintain server resources such as build machines
Maintain documentation for workflow methods, pipeline solutions and project tools, and promote best practices
Manage access permissions for various project resources like Perforce and AD
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Working as Build & Release Engineer or similar position with at least 6 years of experience
Have excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
Great team player. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken
In depth knowledge of a CICD system like TeamCity or Jenkins
Proficient in C# and Powershell scripting
C++, Python, or other programming language knowledge is a plus
Strong knowledge of Perforce, Git, and branch-management strategies
Experience working with physical and virtual machines (Windows)
Helm, Vault, Docker, Kubernetes knowledge good to have
Familiar with using relational and non-relation databases
Experience in working with game engines is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent
