Job Description

Ubisoft Milan is looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Accounting and Cost Controlling Team. In cooperation with the Accounting & Cost Control Manager the new resource will be involved in all daily accounting and financial operations of the company.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the processing (SDI) and accounting entries about third parties invoices, Vat treatment

  • Quarterly submission of LIPE. Monthly Intrastat

  • Payroll Entries as well as monthly reconciliation of related GL accounts (social charges, tfr)

  • Quarterly reconciliation between invoices recorded and invoices received via SDI

  • Recording of bank transactions and Monthly Bank/Credit Card Reconciliation

  • Monthly accruals and provision to ensure costs are correctly allocated as per accounting principles

  • Ensuring invoices are paid in a timely manner

  • Managing the expenses report ensuring these are compliant with our internal policies and procedures

  • Fixed asset management ensuring the correct accounting and depreciation treatment

  • Performing balance sheet reconciliation

  • Supporting the audit activities internal and external on a quarterly basis

  • Storing and archiving of accounting documentation as per law requirements

  • Communication and support other departments

  • Supporting the preparation of the yearly financial statement

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Accounting and/or Degree in Economics

  • Previous experience in the role, maximum 1/2 years

  • Proficient knowledge of Excel

  • Fluent in English

As a plus:

  • Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft, HFM, and/or other accounting systems

  • Knowledge of consolidated financial statements and IFRS Principles
