The Technology Group (TG) provides tools and middleware tailored to our production needs. From front-end to back-end services, our projects are diverse but share a common goal: improve the efficiency of our gaming pipelines and the quality of our games. As a Frontline Team Lead within the Technology Group, you’ll guide a team in supporting developers to leverage TG tools and services and in overcoming any issues that could impact the creation of our games.

Responsible for the incident resolution process of a range of products integrated into our production pipelines, you'll put plans of action in place to proactively prevent and handle problems.

Thanks to you and your team, the studio’s game development community can get back on track as quickly and efficiently as possible – and make the most of the internal tools at its disposal.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with product managers and programming leads to discuss product roadmaps and deliverables + define priorities.
  • Foster relationships with production teams and be a central point of contact for visibility.
  • Equip your team members with the right training and tools to provide frontline tech support and resolve incidents and problems.
  • Clarify responsibilities, evolve processes, and oversee the team’s tasks.
  • Sync up with other TG teams to organize the repair and maintenance of tools and services.
  • Step in to help resolve urgent, major incidents when need be.
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve the quality of service delivered to the game development community.
  • Participate in recruitment to build and grow your team + foster their long-term growth.

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Around 5 years of experience in incident management, product management, or technical support (or other relevant experience) + experience coordinating and developing a team
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related training
  • Proficiency in C++ and C#
  • An understanding of DevOps principles
  • A collaborative, innovative, and solution-oriented spirit
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • The capacity to manage time, overlapping priorities, and critical situations
  • Reliability and availability
  • The ability to put yourself in the shoes of users of your services and tools
