Job Description

Are you passionate about technical challenges? Do you want to join a large-scale project and have a real impact on its quality? Our studio, behind the most ambitious Ubisoft Mobile project, is looking for an Engine Programmer! Want to join the adventure?

Within a passionate team involved in Rendering, Engine and Tech Art topics, you will join the production of our unannounced AAA Mobile game in the beginning of the production phase. Under the responsibility of the Lead Programmer, your responsibilities will be the following:

  • Maintain, develop and optimize the various software components of our game engine (Unity);
  • Execute low level developments (optimization, memory, debugging, real time, multi-threading ...);
  • Participate in the development of game mechanics in collaboration with Gameplay Programmers, Tech Artists and Rendering Programmers.

More generally, you will contribute to the evolution of the studio's technical stack, and will participate in the evolution of the engine.

Qualifications

If the following description matches with your profile and if you want to join demanding teams that define themselves as "serious about fun", you're the one!

  • You have a significant experience in Programming (Generalist, Engine, etc.), ideally on one or more video game productions (Mobile and/or HD);
  • You master Unity to perfection and optimization issues have no secrets for you;
  • You are bilingual C # / C ++ and you are recognized for your expertise in low level languages;
  • Your versatility has ideally led you to tackle topics relating to network, gameplay and/or assets integration;
  • You are passionate about video games and development in the multimedia sector or software publishing in general;
  • You speak English fluently.
