About the Role:

The Twitch Corporate Accounting team is an essential part of our month-end close and financial reporting processes. We are looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant to provide oversight over prepaids, inventory, and our fixed asset processes. In this role, you will work with the rest of the accounting team and business partners to ensure that our accounting data is complete and accurate. You will maintain SOP documentation and use your knowledge to improve our accounting processes. You will report to the Sr. Director of Corporate A.

You Will:

  • Support the month-end close activities by preparing journal entries, running key reports, and performing variance analysis.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring that general ledger accounts are reconciled with documented resolution of reconciling items
  • Coordinate with the merchandise team to build and maintain a robust and scalable inventory accounting process based on Amazon Seller Central reporting
  • Be responsible for ad hoc requests by managing the intake, documentation, and execution
  • Continuously improve business processes, explore new system opportunities, and maintain exceptional work paper documentation

You Have:

  • Minimum 4+ years of public/private accounting experience
  • An appropriate certification in accounting and/or auditing is strongly preferred, including a CPA, CA and/or CIA
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and business process best practices
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to manipulate large sets of data and have excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets), utilization of Tableau, Alteryx, or Quicksight is a plus
  • Experience with large ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, and/or Oracle
