About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to support our rapidly growing and evolving operations outside the United States. You will support the International Legal team on the legal and commercial aspects of diverse projects and have fun tackling the complex issues faced by our business, clients and communities.

You will seek responsibility and autonomy in your work. You will be inquisitive, enthusiastic about media, content and technology, enjoy being challenged intellectually, and demonstrate deft judgment, even in ambiguous situations. You will report into our Senior EMEA Counsel and you will work from our London offices where some international travel may be required.

You Will:

  • Review, draft and advise on media and commercial contracts covering a wide variety of client groups, including general services, events, talent, content, marketing, production and creative services;
  • act as a legal team point of contact, answering questions about Twitch's standard form agreements, deal approval matrix, company procedures and "how we do things at Twitch"
  • support our senior lawyers and other members of the legal team on elements of their projects
  • provide day-to-day legal and compliance support to the Twitch businesses
  • Manage issues that arise in existing commercial relationships
  • research, monitor and provide guidance on the applicability of existing and proposed laws, industry codes and regulations;
  • work with the broader Amazon legal group and other members of the legal team to improve processes

You Have:

  • Minimum of 2 years' work experience as a paralegal or contracts manager in an internationally-focused company
  • Experience drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial contracts, managing deal approval flows and taking responsibility for supporting certain business teams
  • Seeks responsibility and autonomy in their role
  • Passionate about inventing or improving good processes to scale legal operations

Bonus Points:

  • In-house experience at a media, content or technology company is a plus.
  • Experience in designing, adapting and using new processes to build better ways of working as a legal team
