Summary: The New Product Category (NPC) Team is a strategic team that has been created to research new market expansion opportunities in the field of gaming. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the Program Management function of a consumer products organization (gaming would be an advantage). The Program Manager is required as the primary contact and control function between NPi teams and other functions of the organization. Their ultimate goal is to ensure the portfolio launch success and category growth of NPC projects. The role is responsible for overseeing the development of programs that support the organization’s main objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work seamlessly with the NPC team globally to define, execute and launch world-class products in new categories.
  • Understand world-class NPI processes and support their continuous improvement in the organization.
  • Track, manage, and facilitate the progression of projects/products through the organization by effective adherence to policy and process.
  • Manage and report project status to standard TQC metrics (Time, Quality, Cost)
  • Ensure that NPC projects are seamlessly delivered by effective communication and reporting with Operations, Sales, and Marketing within the Turtle Beach organization.
  • Accomplishes strategic objectives by overseeing multiple program activities.
  • Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews and preparing and completing action plans
  • Implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards by resolving problems, completing audits, identifying trends, determining system improvements, and implementing change.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Devising new programs that support the organization’s objectives.
  • Promoting process improvements

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Ideally, BSc Degree Qualified in a relevant discipline (or equivalent 5yrs in a similar role)
  • Min 3-5 years in a relevant industry or similar position.
  • Detailed understanding of full NPi processes (concept through to market obsolescence)
  • Ability to multi-task and work on programs simultaneously.
  • Clear and confident communicator

  • A strong can-do attitude and an effective problem solver.
  • Analytical thinker and data-driven
  • Experience in various tools to manage, track and report successful program outcomes.
