Team Upsla are looking to recruit a Part Time Social Media Manager

After our success so far in 2018, Team Upsla look towards 2019 with a clear vision to give full time positions to staff and players, to encourage and grow a dedicated team of talented individuals and personalities. Our focus for 2019 is on competing within various Esports titles and to provide our fans updated information about our teams.

Team Upsla have been operating since late 2016 and have already made an impact within the UK Esports community.We are looking for dedicated individuals who can commit themselves to a long term plan here at Team Upsla. We aim to bring the successful candidate into the brand and build upon a solid foundation and grow with the organisation for years to come.

The role will entail the following:

  • To keep updating with all the team chats.
  • To develop team identity, cohesion and inclusion.
  • Uphold the professional standards set by the organisation.
  • Post updates and announcements onto the twitter page.
  • Administrative tasks such as the planning of tweets and scheduling tweets to go live at certain times.
  • General administration and record keeping of tweets statistics.
  • Reporting to and liaise with upper management on performance of tweets and making changes to the timing of the tweets.
  • Reporting to and liaise with our graphics team to make sure that the graphics for the tweets are in production and will be finished on time.
  • On the pulse of current trends within Esports, game titles and talent. This is pivotal to gaining a good partnership with the community.
  • The ability to produce documentation and present ideas for strategy for new projects.

Essential criteria:

  • A minimum of a years experience as Social Media Manager
  • A strong understanding of Esports titles
  • A strong understanding of current trends and how to attract attention
  • Evidence of statistical improvements on engagements on twitter
  • An understanding of the importance of media content and its role within Esports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to short and long term goals
  • To be able to attend weekly meetings
