The Challenge:

As the Sr. Director, Media Systems & Technology Operations, the individual is responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day execution of operational activities to support enterprise support, endpoint engineering, media systems, and label management for Rockstar. A strong blend of leadership, critical thinking, and operational expertise to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and across various groups. This role requires an experienced professional who can provide strategic leadership, drive operationalresourcefulness, and nurture a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

What You’ll Take On:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize enterprise operational efficiency.

  • Lead and run cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Lead all aspects of the development and implementation of operational policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Find opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

  • Be responsible for key performance indicators (critical metrics) to supervise operational performance and drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with internal customers, specifically Rockstar, to address operational challenges and drive solutions.

  • Develop and handle departmental budgets and resources effectively.

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to team members to further professional growth and development.

  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of desktop support engineers, providing technical guidance and support.

  • Experience in managing enterprise service teams, including incident management, request fulfillment, and problem management processes.

  • Background in leading and managing media systems as it relates to conferencing sites, events, and broadcast events.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, operations management, or related field.

  • Shown experience in a senior leadership role guiding enterprise service and operations functions.

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capability to empower and inspire teams.

  • Solid understanding of operational processes and standard methodologies across various functional areas.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and multifaceted environment, with a focus on delivering results.

  • Good understanding of IT service

Technical Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the management (ITSM) frameworks such as ITIL, and experience implementing ITSM processes.

  • Familiarity in managing and solving desktop operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux), endpoint security technologies, including antivirus, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and encryption solutions, mobility management (EMM) platforms for managing mobile devices and applications, and endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), SCCM, or Jamf Pro.

  • Understanding of network fundamentals and protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based efficiency suites such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.

  • Experience in media formats, codecs, and standards for video, audio, and image content and broadcast infrastructure components such as cameras, switchers, routers, servers, and encoding/decoding equipment.

The pay range for this position in New York City at the start of employment is expected to be between $221,100 - $300,000 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
