The Challenge

Working as part of the London Workplace team, the Housekeeping Assistant is focused on maintaining housekeeping standards to a high level, providing a clean, sanitary and tidy office for all employees, contractors and guests.

What You’ll Take On

  • Perform office-wide housekeeping on a daily basis including but not limited to trash/recycle removal, dusting, vacuuming, spot-cleaning.
  • Monitor and tidy common areas, conference, huddle, multi-use rooms, private offices and desk areas as required.
  • Regular monitoring of bathroom facilities to ensure standards are maintained to expected levels and stocks are replenished as required.
  • Regular cleaning of gym equipment as per allocated schedule.
  • Housekeeping of kitchen and pantry, ensuring kitchen equipment is washed and replenished frequently.
  • Monitor changing room supplies and ensure showers are maintained to a high standard during operating hours.
  • Monitor and respond to housekeeping request tickets
  • Basic porterage requests including room layout changes and furniture moves.
  • Partner with cleaning company on specialist jobs or tasks as required.
  • Assist with additional projects as directed.

What You Bring

  • Work experience in a professional business environment is required. Experience of working for a Tech company is preferable. Available for overtime and weekend work.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to interact with vendors and external contacts in a professional manner.
  • Must have the ability to work flexibly in order to respond to changing priorities.
  • Basic PC skills, including basic MS Excel and Word.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven team player
