The team at Sumo Leamington is growing, and we’re looking for the industry’s brightest stars to help bring a series of incredible projects to life.

As Senior QA Engineer at Sumo Leamington, you will be working from inception to live ops on either our original IP or some of the exciting work we have with our clients. You will own and drive key areas of the QA process for our games and will exemplify standards and best practice to other QA members and the wider development team.

Core Duties:

  • Collaborate with feature teams to fully understand intention/scope of features and create clear acceptance or test criteria.
  • Write and manage test suites that can be run efficiently by yourself and other members of team.
  • Represent best practice for other testers or team members in your bug reporting and process, and support other team members to achieve similar standards.
  • Use data and objective assessments to provide status updates/risk reports to production and leads.
  • Work with QA and production leads to plan and implement QA activity throughout development cycle.

What do we want from you?

  • Demonstrable life-cycle QA experience on shipped titles
  • Strong experience working in a game studio as part of a feature/sprint based team
  • Strong experience setting up and managing test suites in Testrail, Jira, DevOps or similar

Bonus points:

  • Experience of technical testing & tooling e.g. Network tools, Performance tools, Analytics tools etc.
  • Familiarity/experience with source control & development environments such as GIT, Visual Studio, Unity, Unreal or similar.
