Square Enix is on the look out for a passionate individual to join our QA team. In this position you will ensure that the German versions of all assigned titles reach Square-Enix linguistic standards, and comply with First Party compliance expectations.

Requirements

Key Deliverables

• Verify all bugs reported by QA vendor
• Undertake linguistic First Party standards checks (TRC/XR/Lot check)
• Smoke test on code and vendor bug reports, play-through tests
• Vendor assessment
• If necessary, will be sent to QA vendors’ test facilities during QA crunch
• Overall day-to-day project management of assigned titles:
  • coordination with SEJ Localise/JQA
  • direction of outsource vendor linguistic testing
• Undertake legal/brand-compliance checks
• Undertake play-throughs for age-rating submissions
• (Ad hoc) provide screenshots/footage for Brand
• (Ad hoc) code demonstrations (internal/corporate/PR)
• Linguistic and first party compliance of German versions of Square Enix titles

Knowledge and Experience

Essential:

• Experience of games QA
• High degree of native level German Language skills
• Fluent in business English

Desirable:

• Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience
• Basic Japanese language skills
