Product is at the heart of what we do. In joining the growing Square Enix Mobile Publishing team, you’ll be taking the lead on one of our upcoming games and ensuring we make the best games possible. As the bridge between the audience and the developers, you’ll be responsible for defining the MVP, identifying and prioritising key features and determining the USPs whilst working closely with the development, creative and technical teams to establish the quality bar.

You’ll deep dive into market opportunities highlighted by the Market Research Analyst benchmarking and deconstruct games to evaluate potential features. You’ll also collaborate with the Director of Product and other Product Managers to manage, launch, grow and maintain F2P product game streams through the full life cycle (LiveOps, Balancing, Economy, etc.), define the live operation plan, promotions and event strategy during the life cycle of the game. You’ll work hand-in-hand with the Producer, other internal and external departments regarding feature design/priorities and proactively drive the plan with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Key Deliverables:

  • Analyse market data and deliver insightful product performance analysis working hand-in-hand with the Market Research Analyst.
  • You’ll be responsible of the overall performance of the game
  • Collaborate with the Market Research Analyst and Director of LiveOps to deliver Market & Competitors analysis, with special focus on the games operating directly in the same category to ensure that product decisions are based on well-thought out in-depth competitive analysis..
  • Identify and assess developers based on their subgenre experience that could fit our games portfolio
  • Collaborate in the creation of KPI dashboards and help to identify tools and systems that the company needs to build, improve and refine in order to be able to take the best decisions in game at every moment.
  • Monitor the game performance during the LiveOps phase, propose meaningful A/B tests and report on the key findings to improve and optimize the main KPIs of the game (engagement / retention / virality / monetization).
  • Accountable for incorporating feedback and insights from other departments (Analytics, UX Design, User Research, Players Feedback…) to design features in collaboration with the Developer team that will positively impact the KPIs of the games.
  • Design, balance and aim at continuously improving all the live features related to the product stream(s) of focus, together with the Developer.
  • Work closely with the Director of LiveOps to deliver against a robust feature roadmap that provides strong month over month Life Time Value growth
  • Build player models, business forecasts, and ultimately knowledge learnings / next steps post-feature updates with the Game Data Analyst
  • Collaborate with the development team to clearly define and carefully craft the Player Journey and feature prioritisation, ensuring we keep players engaged from the First Time User Experience to the Elder Game Experience.
  • Analyse game data and deliver insightful product performance analysis working hand-in-hand with the Game Data Analyst.

Knowledge & Experience

Essential:

  • Product Management experience in Mobile F2P industry.
  • Managed LiveOps of mobile F2P titles in a similar role
  • Experience working in Tech multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience A/B testing design assumptions to maximise KPIs of a feature.
  • Experience building models and defining data needs.
  • Experience analysing large amount of data and being able to synthetize it into actionable take aways.
  • Experience defining and providing feature User Stories to designers and developers
  • Proficiency in Excel.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Atlassian products (Jira & Confluence).
  • Experience developing mobile games from concept to launch.
