Job Summary:

Joining as a part of a newly established central paid media team, you will play a pivotal role in building its success and providing exceptional support to the wider Square Enix EMEA marketing organisation.

As Assistant Media Manager, you will be responsible for managing the planning and execution of paid media campaigns for Square Enix’s portfolio of titles, as well as directly buying all paid on-console campaigns across EMEA. Working in collaboration with strategic marketing leads, territory marketing teams and media agencies, you will deliver consistently effective media campaigns, evolving and refining our approach with each release.

Working closely with the Media Manager and Media Strategist, you will also play a critical role in supporting the wider marketing team to run best-in-class marketing campaigns across all titles. From ensuring successful integration of customer data and analytics initiatives into our media campaigns to preparing key planning and performance updates for decision-makers, you will be invaluable in helping us identify key learnings, make the right decisions and execute our plans effectively.

Requirements

Key Deliverables:

  • Manage the tactical planning and execution of paid media campaigns for Square Enix’s portfolio of titles in collaboration with the Media Manager, with the opportunity to lead your own campaigns.
  • Plan and directly buy all on-console media for EMEA across all titles.
  • Support the Media Manager and Media Strategist in defining EMEA paid media strategy for back catalogue and portfolio titles.
  • Maintain and prepare EMEA summaries for key decision-makers across all titles, including:
    • Media plans
    • Live campaign reporting
    • Post-mortems
    • Other ad hoc requests
  • Work closely with the Analytics team, local territory teams and media agencies to ensure effective adoption of internal tools and tracking best-practice.
  • Liaise with the Digital Platform team to define Square Enix customer audiences and ensure successful implementation into media campaigns.
  • Coordinate and summarise competitive campaign requests and maintain a database of historical information.

Knowledge & Experience:

Essential:

  • Advanced media planning experience within a media agency.
  • Experience in buying, planning and optimising social and programmatic media campaigns across multiple markets.
  • Experience defining and testing detailed audience segmentations.

Desirable:

  • Experience running media campaigns within the entertainment industry.
  • Experience running performance campaigns with a strong understanding of digital attribution.
  • Experience on a central team working within a regional network.
