Responsibilities

  • Team position which assumes working with Lead Game Designer and Producer on major design decisions for the game

  • Communicates the vision of major design initiatives, new features and major design overhauls to client and team

  • Contribute to prototyping, game balancing and gameplay tuning

  • Create and maintain design documentation

  • Own and hold playtest/brainstorming sessions

  • Work closely and unify all other disciplines: engineers, artists and QA to design, tune and implement various game design directions

  • Write proposals for major systems, new game modes and other design initiatives

  • Maintain complex, challenging, impactful game aspects with minimal oversight

  • Analyze internal and external metrics feedback and adjust design or balance when necessary

Requirements

  • Must have experience in Game Design for mobile games or own a compelling portfolio

  • Knowledge of 3D level/game design tools and editors, primarily Unreal 4

  • Full cycle and mutli-discipline development experience is a must

  • Understanding of gameplay densities and dependencies plus ability to unify all elements together

  • A fine attention to quality and detail, both creatively and technically

  • Strong creative skills

  • Excellent organization and communications skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work self-directed when necessary

  • Confident English level both written and verbal (at least Intermediate)

  • Knowledge of Project Management tools (Jira, Confluence).

  • Solid user of office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent knowledge of the video game industry

  • Ability to put oneself in player’s shoes.
