Speed Capital Ltd is a technology company focused on motorsport, esports and simulator racing. We are based in London, UK but operate with remote staff from around the world. Our core product, SimGrid, focuses on providing a platform for virtual racing fans to compete against each other online.
Our company strives to create a working environment that is flexible in terms of work ours and also decision-making. We are a team of 60+ young individuals with a massive passion for motorsport (both real and virtual).
We are looking for an experienced Financial Manager to manage our accounts, perform effective risk management and plan the organization’s financial strategy. Following the rapid growth and development of our technology platform, we are looking for an individual to protect the company’s revenues and profits, reporting directly to the CEO. The requirement for this role is as follows:
Responsibilities
Keep accurate records for all daily transactions.
- Prepare balance sheets.
- Process invoices received from various departments.
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Update internal systems with financial data.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Participate in financial audits.
- Track bank deposits and payments.
- Assist with budget preparation for the various departments.
- Review and implement financial policies.
Requirements
Proven experience as a finance manager, or relevant role.
- Experience Xero accounting software.
- In-Depth Knowledge of financial regulations.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in the use of Google Suite and financial management software (e.g. Xero).
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
- BSc/MA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
- Knowledge of Motorsport and Esports is a major plus.
