Spacestation Gaming is looking for someone who's just as passionate about community, events, and engaging with our supporters as we are! We're currently looking for a Junior Community Manager to manage our Reddit and Discord platforms, run events, and scale them up while working with our Community Manager. Candidates local to us, in Utah, will be given preference but we're very open to remote employees. Due to the events of COVID-19, we have shifted many employees to remote work already.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day engagement with our communities on Discord & Reddit.
• Plan and execute events for our community on Reddit & Discord in tandem with our Community Manager.
• Coordinate with our Community Manager and Social Media team to make sure relevant information is shared on these platforms in a timely manner
• Bring innovative ideas on how we can improve the SSG community experience on Reddit & Discord
• Work with our Community Manager to own the growth of these platforms.

The Ideal Candidate Has:

• 1-2 years experience managing & growing gaming/esports communities. Specifically, Reddit and Discord.
• A passion for esports (specifically, the games we compete in) and gaming culture.
• A flexible schedule.
