We’re seeking passionate developers with a broad range of talents and skills to join our team and help craft new gameplay features, engineer shared technologies, and collaborate with designers on new and innovative ideas.

It’s an incredibly exciting time here at Space Ape Games. We have projects in all stages of the development cycle, along with a fast paced environment that promotes genuine autonomy. Beatstar is a brand new music experience and a collaboration between Space Ape Games and the Supercell marketing team in San Francisco. Our partnership continues with the new multiplayer game we've been working on, which is set in the Boom Beach universe: Boom Beach Frontlines.

You will be a client side game developer working in a small, empowered, cross functional team.

Responsibilities

  • Primarily you will develop using Unity3D and C# but other tools as you find the need
  • Owning and delivering gameplay features, tech solutions, and tooling projects end to end
  • Contributing regularly to code shared between several other teams and developers
  • Assisting in development process and roadmaps with insights and technical advice
  • Helping other colleagues achieve their best, and overcome their technical problems
  • Act as an ambassador for development, both inside and outside of Space Ape

Requirements

  • At least 2 years in games development
  • Experience with modern game engine, bonus points for Unity 3D
  • Experience using C# or at least one C-style language
  • Familiarity with UX/UI, and player feedback
  • Familiarity with equations, vectors, and principles of game physics
  • Familiarity with the basics of computer graphics
  • Awareness of software design patterns
