SLAM is hiring a Video Games Producer to help the basketball media brand grow its presence in the gaming/esports space.

In order to be qualified for this position, you:

• have an obsession with playing video games, mainly NBA 2K, Fortnite, Overwatch, Call of Duty and more
• have a true love for basketball and basketball culture and a good sense of the SLAM point of view and voice
• have a deep understanding of social platforms and how they relate to gaming, most specifically Twitch, YouTube and Instagram
• have experience setting up livestreams on Twitch
• are enthusiastic about the world of gaming, always up on the latest trend and always looking for the next big thing
• are willing to produce video content involving gaming at SLAM-hosted and other events—coordinating coverage with editors, working with video shooters/editors and handling logistics relating to gaming-related video production

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Requirements:

• Ability to manage a handful of projects simultaneously
• Must be able to work individually as well as in a team environment
