POSITION OVERVIEW

This role represents an excellent entry point for aspiring data or commercial analysts with less than two years’ experience. Working within the Commercial Analysis department and reporting to the team’s Senior Commercial & Data Analyst, the Junior Commercial Analyst will be required to work across multiple internal datasets and reports, in order to drive increased department efficiency and bandwidth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Senior Commercial & Data Analyst on maintaining and managing all internal databases and operational processes
  • Acquire, clean and update data from multiple sources, including Digital PC Partners, Digital Console and other Digital Business Platforms (Steam, Stadia, Epic Games, Microsoft Gamepass etc)
  • Work with internal SEGA stakeholders on ad-hoc data requests and enquiries
  • Creation of insight dashboards and ad-hoc sales reports
  • Support in the monthly auditing of revenue generated and overall data accuracy

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

  • Confident speaker with proactive communication skills
  • Very high attention to detail and data input accuracy
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Continuous improvement approach to business and workflow
  • Familiar with MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
  • Proficient in MS Excel (PivotTables, Advanced Functions, etc.)

DESIRABLE

  • Knowledge and interest in the video games industry
  • Experience using Tableau to build dashboards and reports
  • Experience using Power BI to build dashboards and reports
  • Experience using SQL to query large databases
  • Experience using Python/R/Pandas for statistical analysis
