Are you eager to kickstart your career in level design and help shape unforgettable puzzle experiences? Our Bloom City Match team is growing, and we’re looking for two Associate Level Designers to join us in our Barcelona and Helsinki offices!
You’ll be at the heart of the action — designing, testing, and fine-tuning levels to ensure players have a delightful and engaging experience. Whether it’s building brand-new content or contributing to curation and iteration, your work will have a real impact on the game’s success.
If you’re passionate about puzzle games and excited to grow alongside an experienced team, we want to hear from you. You’ll bring fresh ideas, collaborate closely with designers, and help push the core gameplay experience to the next level.
You will have impact and fun at work by:
Designing fun, engaging, and satisfying levels as part of our level design team, while also playing and providing feedback on levels created by other designers.
Following guidance to evaluate and improve the quality and performance of existing levels, ensuring an optimal player experience.
Monitoring level-related data with the support of other designers and analysts.
Assisting the team with various design tasks as needed, such as creating custom levels and recording gameplay for advertisements and PR materials.
Experience and skills we are looking for:
A genuine interest in F2P and mobile games, as well as the wider gaming industry.
Eagerness to learn and adopt a data-driven approach to support and validate intuition.
Creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to propose solutions to design challenges.
Ability to understand the game’s unique needs and design levels that align with given guidelines and instructions.
It would be nice if you also have the following skills:
Experience working as part of a team, including student projects or game jams.
Any experience with level data and metrics.
Any experience in another design or game development field.
Unity skills.
Experience with video editing or gameplay recording.
