Rooster Teeth is looking for a valuable contributor to our facilities team’s operation. This individual would help field any on-site vendors, help in the tasks attached to our return to work plans, and keep our facility maintained to a high standard. This individual must be comfortable standing for long periods and walking a lot, as well as have a high level of ‘customer service’ in interacting with any departments while facilitating work orders in our ticket system. This position is a temporary, 40-hour per week position.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and secure working environment in all communal spaces
- Assessing and executing against daily tickets through the facilities work order system
- Assisting the facilities team in managing vendors on-site and insuring quality workmanship and scope completion
- Build and move furniture as needed
- Driving our company vehicles between office spaces or to get their scheduled service done
- May be asked to drive to retail centers to purchase items using department cards
- Hanging of smaller objects - TV’s, whiteboards, shelving units
- Potential for after-hours and weekend needs dependent on project
- Escalating issues tied to emergency, health, safety and security in a timely manner
- Put together research proposals based on tasks as assigned
- Organize internal data storage (both physical and digital, possibly even convert some physical to digital) to provide the facilities department with a solid organized backbone
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School degree or ideally 1-2 years of work experience
- Experience with general handy skills preferred (e.g. power tools, ladders, etc)
- Experience with a production environment a plus
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Creative Problem-Solving Skills
- Must be able to pick up at least 50-lbs and not afraid to get dirty
- Must be some level of tech-savvy (familiarity with apps and using personal cell phone for ticket management)
- Must be familiar with the Google Apps environment
- Valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle required
