Render Developer (Custom Engine)

Through primarily organic growth, we are proudly independent, now home to around 1,100 creatives based in Europe, North America, and South America.

The next great challenge is coming: Supporting the porting of a PC game to consoles. The role involves working with sophisticated custom game engine features such as frame generation and FSR technology for consoles, while the PC engine is based on Vulkan.

Superpowers you have:

• Extensive experience in low-level graphics programming and debugging.

• Strong proficiency with modern game engines, including advanced rendering pipelines and optimization features.

• Solid understanding of dynamic asset streaming and scalable world-building systems.

• Proven experience supporting technical artists with graphical tools and features.

• Expertise in performance optimization for large-scale games.

• Proficiency in debugging tools and custom middleware.

Becoming part of Room 8 Group, you will:

• Develop, optimize, and debug low-level graphics systems for a proprietary game engine.

• Lead the porting of rendering systems from PC/DX9 to Xbox/DX12 and PS5/AGC.

• Collaborate with technical artists to provide tools and support for graphical workflows.

• Solve complex rendering issues and ensure optimal performance across platforms.

• Work with proprietary and internal middleware and debugging tools to maintain and enhance graphical fidelity.
