Rockstar is on the lookout for talented Information Senior Director of Information Security who possess a passion for protecting intellectual property and the company at large from cybersecurity threats. This is a full-time permanent position based out of Rockstar’s unique game development studio in the heart of New York City.
WHAT WE DO
The Rockstar Security team is responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Rockstar’s sensitive intellectual property and data.
We foster a security culture across all teams and disciplines at Rockstar, providing policy, standards, guidance, and awareness training to everyone.
Work closely with departments across the company to understand their workflows and help ensure they are following best security practices.
We work with technology stakeholders to assess our posture, build controls, and mitigate security risks.
Our team is on the front-line of monitoring, detecting, and responding to security related incidents.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and evolve the Information Security strategy for Rockstar Games in partnership with the label’s senior leadership and the executive Cyber Steering Committee.
Lead and develop Rockstar’s highly talented team of security professionals.
Communicate status of security efforts to executive leadership and management across technology disciplines.
Identify and measure key performance indicators demonstrating the efficacy of risk-mitigating controls, as well as the health of the overall program.
Keep current with the latest security technology advances and propose innovations that may benefit the business.
Maintain a thorough and current understanding of security-related technical engineering practices.
Oversee information security programs in the areas of: Security Governance & Risk Management, IT/Infrastructure Security, Threat & Vulnerability Management, and Security Operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience leading teams in Infrastructure or Information Security.
10+ years of experience in Information Security.
Proven ability to manage and mentor both technical and non-technical individual contributors and managers.
Experience managing a geographically dispersed team supporting the ongoing protection and monitoring.
Deep familiarity with enterprise security technologies, such as: EDR, SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability scanners, password managers, etc.
Deep familiarity with technologies used to create and deliver customer-facing software, including software repositories, build pipelines, etc.
SKILLS
Excellent verbal and written communications with a strong track record interfacing with technical and non-technical personnel at a variety of levels.
Demonstrated achievement in building consensus and alignment across diverse disciplines.
Strong ability to translate goals at a strategic level into actionable objectives.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skill with the ability to distil complex and nuanced issues into structured frameworks and processes.
PLUSES

Hands-on experience with the following security technologies: Splunk, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Demist0, Proofpoint, Okta, Palo Alto Prisma, HashiCorp Vault, 1Password.
Hands-on experience with the following enterprise technologies: Office365, Azure, AWS, VMWare Horizon, Airwatch, Jamf, Cisco Meraki, GlobalProtect.
Hands-one experience with the following development technologies: Perforce, GitHub Enterprise, Visual Studio, IncrediBuild.

The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
