This is a full-time, permanent and in-office position based in Rockstar’s state-of-the-art game development studio in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Rockstar is on the lookout for a talented Development Support who is highly organised and passionate about supporting the Design Department, specifically Game Data Development. This is a full-time permanent position based out of Rockstar North
WHAT WE DO
We manage the process to define, design, and implement the player tracking data required for each project.
We proactively ensure core data design requirements are understood across the entire development team.
We collaborate continuously with multiple departments to maintain communications around each projects content and systems requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Game Data Development team across the following key areas -
Team Co-ordination & Focus Support:
Schedule, book and communicate meetings for the team.
Note-take during meetings, and help summarise next steps, surfacing the notes and actionable steps to meeting attendees as a follow up.
Manage communication channels, keeping the Game Data Development team connected to all other teams, departments, and disciplines.
Work with Design Production to keep the Game Data Development team linked to project schedules and priorities.
Bug & Workflow Support:
Assign and deadline bugs for the Game Data Development team.
Sense check bugs ensuring all relevant details are present and correct.
Managing the flow of bugs in various states through the Game Data Development team.
Provide bug status reports to help maximise efficiency, unblocking bugs and workflows.
Documentation Support:
Collate and create documentation across multiple software packages as well as Confluence.
Maintain lookup documentation detailing player tracking data metadata.
Content & Systems Testing Support:
Assist with internal testing of player tracking data and features.
Liaise with QA teams on Design feature test status and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Software Development, Production, or equivalent experience.
SKILLS
Exceptional, confident communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with MS Office.
Ability to take complex instruction well but confident with being proactive and using initiative.
Candidates must be highly motivated, organized, personable and able to work exceptionally well as part of a team.
PLUSES
