About the role:

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will work with the team members to prioritize test cases to automate, script new automated test cases using existing frameworks and tools, update existing test cases, and evaluate test results. You will assess the current framework for integration tests and recommend new processes, features, and tools to improve efficiency, including automated test coverage. You'll report to a QA Manager on the Platform Orchestration team. #LI-Hybrid

You will:

  • Create and execute existing automated test cases and maintain automation suites to ensure testing coverage.

  • Create Component tests based on requirements.

  • Work with the QA lead alongside Product, Design, and Engineering team members to create test strategies, build out test cases, and convert them to automated test cases to ensure that product requirements are accounted for in automated tests.

  • Review test reports and results from automated tests and communicate results with the team with issues found through automated testing.

  • Investigate automated test failures, ensure defect reports for legitimate failures are complete, and follow up on issue resolution and fix verification.

You have:

  • 4+ years of experience working in test automation as a senior automation engineer

  • 2+ years of experience working in automation using C#, Python, Java, Ruby or similar languages

  • 2+ years of Console testing experience

  • Experience developing test scripts using technologies like Appium and Selenium Webdriver

  • Experience creating API tests using TestNG, performance tests using JMeter or other similar tools

  • Experience building automation frameworks from scratch

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range

$200,830—$253,540 USD
